ENLIGHTENme participating in the European Researchers' Night

Last year, on 30th September 2022, ENLIGHTENme was delighted to present the project to a wide audience during the European Researchers' Night.

Organised in Bologna, the event is an initiative promoted by the European Commission since 2005. It involves thousands of researchers and research institutions in all European countries every year. The aim is to create opportunities for researchers and citizens to meet, in order to spread scientific culture and knowledge of the research professions in an informal and stimulating setting. The event includes live scientific experiments and demonstrations, exhibitions and guided tours, conferences and seminars, shows, concerts and artistic performances.

In this context, the University of Bologna, the Bologna Local Health Care Trust and lighting company Neri displayed the indoor and outdoor lighting interventions foreseen in ENLIGHTENme to explain how lighting is important for people's health and wellbeing. Around 4,000 people attended the event.
