Governance

The overall governance structure of ENLIGHTENme is set up to be effective, simple and flexible in achieving the main project goals. A pragmatic organisational structure has been adopted, with attention to a clear distribution of responsibilities at three levels:

1. COORDINATION LEVEL: the Coordinator is supported by the Management Team which ensures appropriate management of the project and facilitates communication among all project partners and with the European Commission.
2. STRATEGIC LEVEL: the General Assembly is supported by the Health and Urban Lighting Advisory Board, by the Board of Lighting Companies and by the Scientific Advisory Board.
3. OPERATIONAL LEVEL: the Executive Board ensures that the operational activities are efficiently carried out and a proactive dialogue among partners is established.
